Hal Duglass Birmingham

Hal Duglass ” Bo” Birmingham of Otisville, age 78, died Sunday July 13, 2025 at McLaren-Flint. A gathering time will be held from 1-4 pm Thursday July 17, 2025 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison, with Military Honors under the auspices of Davison American Legion Post 267. Those desiring may make contributions in Hal’s memory to the Vietnam Veterans Organization of your choice.

Hal was born in Lake City, Arkansas on October 30, 1946 the son of the late Oris and Eva (Clark) Birmingham and has resided in the Otisville area the last thirty-one years. He was joined in marriage to Mary Farmer on July 31, 1969. Answering the call of his country Hal proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Hal was a proud member of the 11th Armored Calvary Regiment – Blackhorse Division, and a life member of Davison VFW Post 4087; Hal had a great passion for metal detecting and would travel to the shore of Cancun Mexico to help in the cleanup along the shore line. He enjoyed his quiet time and was a great history buff.  His love of the outdoors allowed him to pursue his time of hunting and fishing.  Hal had been employed by General Motors Fisher Body and Buick City Divisions until his retirement in 1999.

He leaves to cherish his memory wife Mary, and daughter Leslie Birmingham. He also leaves his brother Larry (Raynee) Birmingham, sisters: Orislene Joslin, Linda Pazanowski, and a host of extended family and friends. Please share your condolences at www.hansenfuneralhome.net
