Not sure what to say?

Dear KB and family,

I was so sorry to hear about your Dad. I know how close you were to him. It seems that you shared many passions with him like the outdoors, hiking, good wine, mathematics, science and history. Hard to imagine there were 2 of you…

After reading the notes, especially the one from the Donovans, I feel like I knew your Dad. It seems that he brought joy to all who knew him.

There are no words that can help right now but I always found comfort in hearing...

Dear Dr. Byers, I am sorry for your loss. I will be praying for you and your family.

Karin,

I was so sorry to hear about your father. It is so difficult to lose a member of your family. You have my prayers and sympathy.

Pat Paulson

Dear Karin,

I am so sorry to learn of the passing of your dad. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Debbie, Karin and Eric;

I am so very sorry to learn of the passing of your dad. My family sends our deepest sympathies to each of you.

I apologize for not knowing about the services for today, or I would have been there.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to you.

Chaye and I, and all of Hal's TEKE Brothers and Wives from the Classes of 1957, 58 & 59, thoroughly enjoyed a very special evening together with Hal at our 50th Reunion in May at the Nittany Lion Inn.

My memories are of a happy smile and a hearty laugh and that's a great legacy to leave. Another one of the good guys is gone but, among those who knew him, he will not be forgotten.

Hal was a loyal and longtime friend who will be sorely missed. His many interests, sense of humor, and love of familiy made him an exceptional person. Goodbye friend.

We knew Hal for just a blink of time. He was the step-father of the fine man who married our daughter, Katrina, just weeks ago. We spent time with him first when Ryan brought him to share dinner at our home in the springtime when we discussed gardening and particularly tomatoes. Our second time together was at Trina and Ryan's suprise engagement party at Eric and Ida's home. Our third meeting was at their rehersal dinner. And the fourth was on that wonderful next day when Trina became part of...
