Not sure what to say?

When Hal was working for the White Sox, I was working for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad. As one of my duties as an engineer, I had to deliver engines to a freight yard just across the street from Comiskey Park. Whenever I arrived I always whistled three times. If Hal was at work a ceremony, of sorts, was celebrated. The love that I have for you and your family is eternal. God bless you.

Dear Eddie and family,
We are so sorry to hear of Hal's untimely passing. It's just unbelievable to us. I hope that G-d sends you and the boys strength to endure and push through all of this. And may you find comfort in the memories the two of you and the family created. May G-d grant you strength and peace in your grief.
Love, Jeff and Marybeth Crum

I remember Hal as always smiling he was always kind to me and made me laugh. I played hockey with Hal in my younger days and when any of the other teams we played opposing players checked me into the boards hard, Hal would go after them. We have lost a good soul and heaven has gained an Angel Rest In Peace Hal !

Praying that our Lord will comfort you in these days ahead. Very sorry to hear the news.

My heart breaks to hear this news. Such a great guy! My thoughts and prayers go out to Edwina and the boys.

To all of Hal's dear Friends and Family,
In lieu of flowers an Educational Fund is being set up for Hal's boys.

The most magical personality I have ever met. I lived with Hal, I worked w Hal, I played with Hal, we loved the game of baseball together. We worked at the White Sox together and til this day Hal is a legend in the White Sox community,
Hal was loved by everyone he met.
I could write for hours all the great times we had but I will save some space for others and see you Friday!
