Not sure what to say?

I was thinking of those who had an impact on my life. Hal was one such person for me. When saw he had passed, it reminded me of how much of an impact had on me. I was a young city manager in Sachse, and Hal took me under his wing teaching me so much. I hope to be able to have such a positive influence on someone as much as Hal did on me. Rest in peace.

Hal was a good friend, co-worker, engineering colleague, and fellow Aggie. He and Pam were close friends with Jane and me in the early 70's, and we shared many good times together creating wonderful memories. Hal and I worked at the City of Austin Traffic and Transportation Department along with other good friends, Joe Ternus and John Friebele. We all shared the Aggie Spirit, and a love for traffic engineering. Our careers intertwined and connected over the next 40+ years in interesting...

I have been thinking about other memories and wanted to add another! I have been going to the Texas Institute of Traffic Enginners meeting for many years and I hung out with Hal a lot!,

I remember one meeting when we were in our early twenties or maybe early thirties where we were sitting In The back at a luncheon and I think I commented on the table in front of the speakers stand as being where all the old guys gathered! Hal said those are the Mossbacks. He said remember how some...

Hal, we were blessed to be your neighbors for the last 20 years. And blessed to call you friend. We are so happy that you are now with Jesus but you are so missed my friend. But your race is now finished and you ran it well.

I have probably known Hal almost 50 years and he was one of those friends and colleagues who I always enjoyed spending time with and talking to! He was always positive, and I know he always wanted things done right! He gave me some good job references and I have always appreciated that! He will be missed by all that knew him! He was a genuine person and a real straight Shooter! So much can be said but I am at a loss for words! I would have loved to have spent more time with him, and hearing...

Pam, Lisa, Cari and Courtney - have such great memories of when all the family visitedWL8WN Lisa in Corpus Christi. You are such a close knit group and I always loved that family bond. My prayers are with you. Love you - Joyce

Thank you, Hal, for many shared good laughs and a few shared gripe sessions! I'm proud to have enjoyed your friendship!
