i never met him personally but i heard from a lot of family how great of a person he was! rest in peace uncle hal!

Growing up, my mom loved Hal. My childhood memory is painted with his songs on tape or CD, as they were in heavy rotation when she was driving. These two things became linked in me forever.

Hal giave me hiis autograph in 1995 after one of his concerts at the fair in Gray TN .He was a very nice person .I loved his music .zMy favorite song was I KNOW WHERE LOVE LIVES

I saw Hal in concert just once,but it was one of the best I have ever been to. He was a fantastic Singer/ Songwriter,and left us with so many great songs. He will be missed.
