Not sure what to say?

I was saddened to learn of Mr. Bryson's death. Ellen and I were privileged to work with him during the years we lived in Shelby. It is our fervent prayer that God's gentle and loving Spirit will provide comfort to all of the family during this difficult time.

With love,

Donnie Tharrington

Tommy, Jane and families... Your dad was a special person who was admired, respected and loved by many... My thoughts and prayers are with you all....

Tommy: Wish I had known your dad. Grateful to know the son he produced. Condolences to your mother and siblings.

Tommy and family,
I always had great respect for "Mr. Bryson", while I was both a student at Shelby Jr. High and a fellow member at First Baptist Church where my dad also taught a Sunday School class for just as many years.
My thoughts and prayers to you all in the loss of a fine man that lived a good life.

May God bless you and your family during this time of sorrow.

I have for years appreciated the leadership that Mr. Bryson gave to Shelby City Schools and his many reminders to us of all the different "pots of money" he had to juggle. My deepest sympathies to his family, especially to Jane and Laura who have been good friends.

Our deepest condolences to your family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Thoughts and prayers for all -- I remember riding with the Brysons to many SHS away football games as a child and working on Pinewood Derby cars!

I am so sorry for your loss. My mother, Iva Jean Beason, enjoyed working for him and thought highly of him. It is a blessing to have had a man who cared so deeply for children and education. May God comfort you during this difficult time.
