I did not know this sweet spirit that was and always will be forever loved and missed. I followed Halee's progress through her grandma Mary, then through her Hope for Halee page. I shared her story and her page and asked for prayers many times through her ordeal and feel like I knew this beautiful young lady. I pray for her family today, i pray for comfort for them in these days ahead. I know she is sitting with our Lord God and finally pain free.

In one of Halee's last texts to me, she 'ordered' me not to be sad, not to cry for her, and not to wish I could take her pain. She said she knew God had a reason for her pain, and that He had a job for her to do. She also said when her job was done here, He would take her home to Him where she'd have no more pain. Much as I miss her, I know she's with her Lord, resting and no longer hurting. And she got to hear "Well done" when she completed her work here. Rest well, Halee, I'll look...

Halee touched us all with her beautiful smile, enthusiasm, talent, zest for life and loving spirit! Her soul was an old soul, one well beyond her years and we are all blessed to have known her! To her family, may you find comfort in knowing how Halee touched so many people and how much she was loved!
