Haley J. Fromholz

Haley was a much loved law school classmate, and I always enjoyed seeing him at the annual ALI meetings.

I am so deeply saddened by the passing of Judge Fromholz. I had the pleassure of working for him in Dept. 20 for 10 years. He was an amazing Judge. Always punctual on the bench, super prepared, and brought justice quickly but fair to all. Not only did he handle a regular calendar but also took on the clergy cases. He was such a hard worker. When he would go on vacation, he always had me double schedule the calendars. I have never seen a Judge go through 40 matters in a morning session. I will...

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Judge Fromholz, a mentor who changed the course of my life. Judge Fromholz brought me from Duke in North Carolina to Los Angeles, where his mentorship, kindness, and guidance shaped my career. His generosity of spirit, dedication to the law, and unwavering integrity left an indelible mark on me, as I´m sure it did on many others. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and deepest condolences go out to Anita, Ann, Julia, and Alden during this difficult time.

My sincere condolences to the family. I had the privilege of working with the Hon. Haley J. Fromholz in Dept. 20 at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse. He was well respected and shared the love he had for his family and of course, Duke. He will be missed.

I was privileged and honored to support Judge Fromholz during his assignment in Dept. 20 as he showed integrity, thoughtfulness, and passion for the law. His love for his family and Duke basketball were also clear. To Mrs. Fromholz, Ann, Julie and Alden please accept my condolences.
