Halie Lynn Hendrickson

Halie Lynn Hendrickson, 20, Cando, ND passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Towner County Medical Center in Cando, ND.


Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Cando Lutheran Church with Pastor Bonnie Weaver officiating. Burial will be at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Cando. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Honorary Bearers will be all of Halie's cousins. Music will be provided by Roberta Mundahl, Andee Mattson, Josh Mattson and Andrea Thoreson.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Cando Arts Council, Cando Arts Center, Cando Fireman's Association or Towner County Ambulance Service.

Halie was born July 21, 1994 in Cando, ND to Wade and Paula (Nelson) Hendrickson. Halie was raised in Cando, North Dakota and graduated from North Star High School in 2012. After graduating from high school she attended Lake Region State College in Devils Lake where she studied art. She worked at Bob's Super Value and American Bank Center in Cando. Halie loved camping, fishing and bowling. She was passionate about art of all kinds including pottery. Spending time with her family was extremely important to her and especially spending time with her cat Chester.

Halie is survived by her parents Wade and Paula Hendrickson of Cando, ND; sisters Kendal Hendrickson of Cando, ND and Lacie (Casey) Hansen of Fargo, ND; grandparents Doreen Hendrickson of Cando, ND, John (Everal) Nelson of Miles City, MT and Grace (Bob) Harder of Yakima, WA and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins from Alaska to Florida and everywhere in between.

Halie was preceded in death by her grandfather William Hendrickson and first cousin Tyler Williams.
