Mr. Bailey was my grade school principal at Ott School. I am sure many people do not remember their elementary principal, but because he was such a kind and gentle person I do. He once had an entire soda spilled on him at the circus he helped chaperone for the school crossing guards and he did not chastise the student, he simply excused himself and left to clean up.
