Hallie Hall Riker Mar. 18, 1929 - Aug. 17, 2010 Hallie was a scrappy farm girl from Corsicana when she set out to study piano at UT Austin. She could read classical music and play like her hair was on fire but she met a knucklehead history major who was fresh from the war and the Navy. She...

Not sure what to say?

I still miss her!

Cheryl and I are very disappointed we miss the service. We did not become aware of Hallie's passing until day of the service.
We loved Hallie and Malcolm very much. We enjoyed helping them and visiting with them after Malcolm's retirement. We enjoyed working with and serving with them at Saint Paul's( and St. Christophers).

I pray Chris and Marcus and families are comforted by the memory of Hallie.

Seeing Hallie's picture bring tears to my eyes. She was a beautiful...

Dear Riker Family,
The St. Paul's Church family in Pflugerville feels your loss keenly, and prayers are being said daily for all of you during this time. We were the last mission "plant" in the Riker legacy, and there are still quite a few members who fondly remember both Malcolm and Hallie. We thank God for the wisdom and caring that both of them gave this church. We know that they are praising God together once again! Much love, and many blessings from the St. Paul's family.

Marcus, Holly, Chris and Colleen,
I am so sorry about Hallie's passing. I do know that she is in heaven playing that piano and I feel my mom is standing right there singing along and Malcolm is doing the sermon. We all got together in 1960, so I can't put my 50 years of memories here. But speakig of ironing vestments, I sure remember as a child the fridge being full of starched alter linens and vestments waiting to be ironed. My last trip, to Canada with mom, Malcolm and Hallie will...

Sorry for your loss. May memories of her bring you comfort.

Hallie was a second mother in LaMarque. God smiled on Malcolm when he sent her to Austin from Corsicana. If there is a mansion in heaven, they're in it. Mike Remme

I'm am so sad to hear this news. Hallie and Malcolm were two of the nicest people I've known. A blessing to so many. They are and will always be greatly missed.

A beautiful tribute to a beautiful lady. Hallie was my friend for more than 40 years. In the days before cordless telephones, we had 50- foot (well, at least 25-foot) cords on our telephones so we could talk and still cook, clean house, or iron clothes. All her friends had long telephone cords! We shared a few bad times, many good times, and great vacation times through the years. She was a treasure.
