Not sure what to say?

I remember fondly shopping at Rapp Bros. weekly during the late 50s, 60s and into the 70s. Jake and Elsie were a delight to see each week. The market was a highly popular place to find quality meats. Sorry to hear of Jake's passing, but he topped the 100 mark - good for him. I went to school with Vernon at RHS 1954. I live in Tucson for many years now.
Blessings to all the family members.

Hi Vernon and Mike,
My name is Bonnie (Dobbins) Mintzer. I am Evelyn and Harry's youngest daughter. My parents were best friends with Bebe, and your father. They also helped him with his catering business.I also helped work the cash register when Eileen was out sick. I am so sorry to hear about your father. I just loved him and his jokes. I use to run into him at the Farmers' Market. It was always a real treat to see him. There will be a lot of jokes and entertaining going on now in...

DEAR VERN, DOTTIE AND FAMILY. SORRY TO HEAR "JAKE"IS NO LONGER WITH US BUT IN A MUCH BETTER PLACE. I'M SURE HE AND ELSIE AND LARRY WILL HAVE A GREAT TIME. GREAT THAT HE WAS WITH YOU FOR SUCH A LONG TIME. OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH ALL OF YOU AT THIS TIME. THE RAZZANO FAMILY

Vernon and Mike,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you, at this time of sorrow. Jake was a funny and nice man. We remember him from the store, and lately seeing him in the hospital.

Remember both your parents with much love and many happy times with my parents, Frank and Julia Doerrman. Jake served Paul's and my wedding reception. His birthday and my mother's were exactly the same day and year. My sincere sympathy to all who have cherished knowing both Jake and Elsie.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

We would like to wish the family well. Jake was a great man who left a big impression on the many people he touched in his long life on earth.

I remember your Dad from the Exchange Club of Reading, my father, Tom Richardson was also a member - your Dad was so funny - I think he is the one who came to the fair, after a bit of rain at the fair in hip boots - it certainly reminds me of something he would do - we had great fun with him at the fair and at the picnics for the Exchange Club. I'm sure you'll have great memories of him forever.
