I was blessed to get to know Hanan late in her life after discovering that I had known her youngest son, Chad, for many years and we both graduated from Cass City High School. Her love of God and her family were unsurpassed. Hanan had such a sweet spirit and I so enjoyed our chats. Although her earthly presence will be missed beyond measure, we can rejoice in knowing that she is now living with Jesus in her restored body and with joy beyond our wildest dreams. Fly with the angels, my friend.

I had the pleasure of working with Hanan at South Middle School. Her passion for her work and love of her students was commendable. She would comment during our frequent meetings she even loved the "little stinkers". The light of her faith showed through everything she did. She was a truly kind and gentle soul. She was a shining star and now she shines in Heaven. My thoughts and prayers are with the family as you navigate this very sad and difficult time.
