Not sure what to say?

My condolences to the Akbar family. I was mentored by brother Akbar as I worked at Akbar Steak & Take on Jackson Ave., & Bid well Ave. Rest in Paradise my Brother.

I was another one of the many teens Akbar mentored and provided guidance on how to be a man in the sometimes rough streets in the Greenville section of Jersey City. I will always remember his kind and gentle way of teaching. I hope the family finds peace in knowing that Akbar is so beloved by so many. I am a better father and man because he cared.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

My deepest sympathy to Sis Janice and family...

I initially met and remember Henry Akbar from the steak n take on MLK. Later, I worked with Henry at Yellow Freight Systems,he was a older brother type figure to me. I'm also aware that Henry has a long history with my family. He always offered kind words and wisdom during tough times. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. You will be missed by many.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

May GOD, give you guidance and strength during your time of loss. Henry's friendship to our family was genuine and long lasting. He will be missed by those who knew him. Our condolences to his loving family.
