Hanford Lewayne Brooks

Hanford "Buddy" Brooks, 75, of Judsonia, died Tuesday October 4, 2011 at White County Medical Center. He was born May 16, 1936 in Judsonia, Ark. to the late H.L. and Lela Warren Brooks. He was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church of Judsonia and a retired over the road truck driver. Mr. Brooks is survived by his wife, Margie Brooks; children, Susan Flowers of Searcy, Harry L. Brooks of Searcy, Lisa Brooks of Indiana, Diana Brooks of Indiana, H.L. Brooks of Indiana, Tina Brooks of Missouri, Vicky Surrell of North Carolina, Michael Brooks of Missouri and Libbie Brooks of Missouri; a step-daughter, Caron Baxter of Hazen; sisters, Wilma Rarick, Jean Morgan and Betty Hulsey all of Judsonia and Ann Cranford of Greenbrier; a brother, Gary Brooks of Illinois; 21 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Virginia "Jennie" Metcalf.
