Sailed in Yucca a few times from NZ, while on holiday with KB, Hank was the ultimate sailor, gentleman, host and all round good guy. Sailing in " the Bay", on Yucca, with a bunch of great guys will always be a fond memory. Graham B

It was always heartwarming to see the 'Godfather of SF Bay Racing' out on the water, year after year - whether aboard 'Yucca' or 'Serenade.' His smile was contagious, his competitive spirit indomitable. We'll miss you, Hank!

My father, Robin Hobart, was a friend and fellow sailing buddy of Hanks. We were members of the Sausalito YC, my dad was a past Commodore and Hank was an honorary member. The SYC was on the smaller side, and Hank sponsored us at the Corinthian YC so I could have my wedding reception there!
