Some fifty years ago I was playing in “the yard” with Sandy, Dennis, and the gang. Saint Hannah came out to warn us… “You kids need to go home and get inside before you get soaked, it’s getting ready to rain.”
We all looked at each other in puzzlement. Not a drop had fallen, the sky was still blue, and one of us replied “but it’s not raining!” Saint Hannah went on to deliver a lesson that would become one of my fondest childhood memories.
