Dr. Freistadt is a special part of legacy and history of Women's Health Specialists in Chico, CA. Fourty years ago, he provided essential consulting and medical back up services to our clinic at a time when no other physicians in the area had the courage to do so. We were all lucky to have him in our...

He delivered my baby at home birth in Lakewood, Colorado 1972. I admired his dedication to patients. No idea of his journey when younger. Remarkable life!

Sherry and family,
My heartfelt condolences for the passing of this wonderful human being. I felt privileged to work with him in the 80's at O.H., and have many memories of his dedication, ethics, and enigmatic personality ! Learned so much from him. ~Janet (Doroh) Dawson

I always knew you were a very special person. Thank you for all the thoughtful conversations with me, you always took the time and helped to shape my radical child-birth ideals to something more sensible!! Kristi Rowell

Rest in Peace. You were always so nice to me.

I worked for Hans in the late 7o's. I didn't realize the remarkable education I was receiving at the time. He delivered all three of my girls. He played beautiful classical music while I was in delivery room. He lit up knowing a new life was entering this world. He was wonderful. I'm sorry I wasn't able to attend his services today. He is in my heart and mind forever. Brilliant man.
