Not sure what to say?

Sorry for your loss. My mother (Miriam Kavanagh) always talked about Johnny and when I saw the notice, I realized that must be him. She was one of the "lunch bunch", those who would go to various restaurants every Saturday. Since moving to be near my sister in Clifton Park two years ago, she frequently mentioned missing going out with Ellie, Eddie and your Dad. It's been a busy week in Syracuse with Cantor Lerner and now my Aunt Gussie Kavanagh today. May they all rest in peace.

My deepest sympathies to you and your family.

Dear David and family, I was saddened to learn that your dad had passed away and so, so very sorry that my mother and I missed the service. We just didn't see the notice in time. We have been talking about your dad, my dad and uncle since you shared the pictures with me. My mother has many fond memories of your father and your mother as well. We will keep you all our prayers.

so sorry for your loss - Uncle Johnny was one of my favorite relatives of Mitch's - he was a hero, gentleman and always made me laugh!! He was devoted to Rosie and his family and I have many fond memories of him from my life!! xxoo Sandi Kosoff

Dear Dave and family,
I just read this morning about your father's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. He was such a funny and gentle man. Tom worked for him at Syracuse Advance Electric and I remember a dinner or two and having a very nice time with him. Your family are in my prayers.

Dear Dave and Family

Here it is late Sunday afternoon 10-11-15

and I am just reading your father's obit.

I missed the ceremony at the funeral home. I am so sorry....but my memories of your Dad are most pleasant ones, rest assured. He always had a chuckle or two when we talked at our DeWitt political affairs.

He shall be missed, but his life was well spent and he left a beautiful legacy....Please accept my sincerest sympathy
Margaret (Peg) Celano

Dave,

My fondest memory of your father was from a DeWitt Conservative Party fundraiser. An official who was present commented on how much I enjoy eating the food at my own fundraisers and he asked me to turn sideways to prove it. Hans' comment to me was to tell that official that my stomach was paid for. I will miss his smile and his sincere warmth.

I had hoped to make it to the VA to see him one last time. Unfortunately my busy schedule got in the way yet again. Please...
