Hans was my classmate during navigation college in Bremen graduating 1968 with a master mariner license in worldwide trade. Although living on different continents, we could occasionally keep track on the development of each other. I have respect from his character and admire his achievements, both in his working and in his private live and in regards of his large family. For myself, he remains a lighthouse which I consider his light will keep on shining...
