Yes, I think of Hans very often. A good friend in USA sometimes coming back to Sweden, for good meetings. He is not there anymore. We miss him. Matts, retired metallurgical engineer and friend.

Just learned of Hans´ passing. A good friend and a good man. He had many talents. Our belated condolences to Barbara ,his sons and their families.

Hans was a beautiful friend with a heart of gold. He and I shared a lot of fun bicycling Kansas and Missouri. We remained close friends over the past 25 years. He and his lovely wife Barbara attended our wedding at the Kansas City Club. It was great to see him exactly one year ago. Our memories of him will live on forever.

Hans and I met at various meetings in North America in the spirit of the Special Arcs committee of the Electric Furnace Conference, among others in New Orleans and Quebec. I met a very well dressed man , talkative and interesting. To my surprise he turned out to be Swedish like me. Hans came from a very small village in the middle of the dense forests...
