My sincere condolences to your family on the loss of such a wonderful man. Hans and Charlotte were friends of mine and my wife's shortly after their arrival in America. We too had immigrated in the 50's. He was a most caring and faithful friend, a loyal and lifelong comrade. I could always depend on him, and know that he would be there, without fanfare to help, when needed, and then just as silently, he would be gone again, not expecting or waiting for anything. I feel the greatest gratitude...

My Father was an amazing man who showed me by example how to be an artist and to select a passion to pursue for my own fulfillment in life. Being a graduate of the "Bauhaus " and becoming an architect. Also a carpenter and classical music lover, that gave me the example I mentioned. His love for my mother was eternal. He and Mutti gave me 3 brothers ...Jurgen 1 year older than me, who was a great friend to play with growing up near the Cleveland Zoo ( not in the Zoo) ...Thomas 5 years...

With only a few months of acquaintance, Hans became a great friend. He will be missed at Brookdale Westlake V illage
