Read MoreI worked with Dr Riddervold at the Greenbrier clinic. Rad Dr´s would fill when our Dr.s took vacation. Dr R was awesome and brilliant to work with and we always enjoyed the stories he had to share . I just heard that he passed a couple years ago and just read his UVA memorial. I didn´t know at the time what an impact he had at UVA . I´m thankful and honored to be able to say I knew and worked with this awesome Dr.

Sorry for your loss, Dr. Riddervold had an amazing journey in his life. My father Finn was born in Oslo Norway in 1921, he came to the USA in the 1930''. Reading about your dad/husband, reminded me of my own dad's journey. My dad passed away in 2015. He retired here to Charlottesville in 1984. All of his family remains in Norway.
