Hans Martin Rumscheidt

Martin was a gift and treasure to the world and to those who knew him. I am grateful to have studied under him and for his participation in three of my postsecondary degrees. Martin was my thesis advisor - in fact, it was he who convinced me that it was worth the effort to write about Christian communication of the Holocaust. I learned so much from him, and when he moved from Halifax to Dover, my library was considerably enriched, as he gave me my choice of books to add to my shelves. It seems quite impossible that I won't see him at AST again - if the person is not eternal, everything he taught me certainly lives on.
