HANS L. SCHOEMER

Hans L. Schoemer 45-year resident of Schaumburg Hans L. Schoemer, 84, was the beloved husband of the late Jeanne (nee Merges); devoted father of Rick (Kathy) Schoemer, Kim (Terry) Hinrichs and Laura (John) Bertholomey; loving grandfather of David and Briana; loving son of the late Mary and John Schoemer; dear brother-in-law of Colette and Willard Maier; and dear uncle of Karen (Fred) Schneider, and great-uncle of Tim, Tom and Tracie. Hans was born on May 11, 1928, in Chicago, and passed away on Jan. 2, 2013. He retired as a mechanical engineer for Motorola, Inc., after 38 years of service. Visitation 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 330 W. Golf Road, Schaumburg where funeral prayers will be said at 9:15 a.m. Monday to Church of the Holy Spirit, 1451 W. Bode Road, Schaumburg, for 10 a.m. Mass.
