To Jacks family,
I know you were all the apple of his eye. How fortunate that you all live so close that you were able to visit him frequently. To his children and grandchildren I'm sure you bring a smile to your Mom and Grandmother and his memory will live on in you.
Love,

Jack was my friend for 40 years. We worked together at Grumman in 1968 when he was such a great help and mentor. I met Cathy soon after and then my wife joined the group. He especially liked the many windows on the rear of the structure. Jack so enjoyed telling the story of how an impetuaus young man met and married his true love ijn...

Jack was an extremely gentle, kind and loving man. His humorous, quirky, caring ways made him a favorite among his family and friends. He was always extremely good to me, never hesitating to lend a helping hand or a warm, bear-like hug. His face always lit up when he was with my children, Mitchell and Nina. I have such wonderful memories of them together talking, playing, telling jokes. I remember once a precious, small memory. Jack and I were with the kids at McDonald's in Northport and he...

Dear Stern Family,
My most persistent memories of Jack are his almost daily walks to the end of Godfrey Ave, where he would reflect on the state of the world and consider the ebb and flow of the tide. He was a good man and a Democrat, which meant that we had at least the latter in common.

I will miss my favorite uncle who was there for me during my early adulthood when I needed him. I put my trust in God that He has His reasons. I know that you do too.
Love, Fran
