Anke, We are so sorry for your loss.Hans was a great man.I will never forget pulling up in your driveway on Mink Rock as this big man was getting out of his truck...We said is this house for sale he said follow me well we did and we met you and Hans that day .., And over a bottle of rum, fine conversation and lots of laughs we came to agreement to buy your house. Hans will be truly missed by those he touched.Our deepest condolences to you and Brigitta... The Dyer family

Hans and his family were close friends of ours when Hans was rebuilding "Flicka" in St.Lucia and he was a joy to watch work. I well recall him making up a complete wooden mast for "Flicka" at the bayside in Castries Harbour where we both shared moorings. A really great guy.

A true gentleman and shipmate who blessed all of us with his friendship.

Anke;
I always liked Hans,from the day I met you both aboard "Flicka". He always had helpful advice for me wether i wanted it, or not.He was a wealth of knowledge, and a kind , warm individual. I will always remember his hearty laugh,whenever I think of you both.
Peace be with you and your daughter.
