Not sure what to say?

its compelling for me to type material regarding/honoring a man who polished my anisnaebaemowin in 1973 in Ann arbor. I learned and even perfected my bad errors in learning. Best, as a true nishnaeb...he invited me into his home on Pontiac trail..I think...where I also met son lance. I wish the best in the afterlife for a most congenial man. see you soon.

To the family of Hap McCue,
Our respect and condolences to you at this time. Walk in peace.

I will never forget Hap. As his physician, he taught me more than I ever did for him. Hap had a special gift of teaching a person how to communicate and live with true integrity. He was a quiet and humble man, yet wise beyond his years and will be deeply missed. Cheryl, I am so sorry for your loss. He is lucky to have had you as his loving wife.
Blessings,
Diane Howlin, M.D.

Hap at Winter Solstice, December 2005

I met Hap at American Indian Health and Family Services in Detroit and had the honor of hearing some of his wonderful stories. He always gave of his time and his wisdom generously, and with humor and humility. I send my deep sympathy to his wife, Cheryl and to his family. He touched many lives and will continue to do so as his legacy lives on. We will miss him.

Lance and family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Remember all of the wonderful things that Hap has achieved in his lifetime - father, teacher, elder. His love for all of you is never-ending and he will always be with you in your hearts and spirit.
All our love,
Dan and Danielle

You were a friend Hap...I loved the pot lucks and friendly smokes outside the LSA building. I'm always reminded of you when I see a turquoise ring on the end fingers of an older person.

Ga-mesnigoo (you will be missed).

We will miss you Hap! Our hearts and prayers are with you.

Condolences to Hap's family & to the community, he was a treasure.
