Not sure what to say?

Hari is still a dear friend. I miss him every day. I send lots of love to his family and friends. Monica

My condolences to his family. I just recently found out that he is in a better place. I will never forget how gentle person he was and understanding life with depth. He once read me a short story "If sharks were men". I still remember his gentle voice and so passionate explaining the details to me who speak English as a second language.

I met Hari by total coincidence years ago I think 2012 in San Francisco while on a business trip from Germany. Despite the distance we became friends and every time I was in San Francisco we met and spend some time laughing, discussing and just enjoying life, we even made a camping trip for a weekend with friend. I was so astonished how friendly and open I was recieved as a "stranger" by him. By researching I now got these sad news of him passing away. I will always remember him as the...

Hari was a dear frind of mine and a colleague.

Hari was a ray of subshine at CCSF, and I was shocked to see he had passed away much too soon.

I love you Hari!

Monica

Hari and I grew up together on the same street where we were close friends through elementary school. Hari was always a sweet and kind guy and a great big brother to his siblings. It always made me happy to run into him in later years and I know that it was my loss for not knowing him better as an adult.

My heart goes out to his family and friends during this time of great loss.

Hari and I grew up on the same street and were close friends for several years in elementary school. He was always a sweet and kind guy and a great big brother to his siblings. I wish I had known him better as an adult. I know this is a great loss to his family and friends and they will be in my thoughts for a long time to come.

RIP

Hari was an intellectual and a scholar, but he was also just a fun person. As recently as the year-end English department party in May of 2019, he was sharing laughs, conversation, and drinks with his colleagues and friends, fully embracing the joy of the moment. We miss him already.

Warmly,
Leila (CCSF)

I knew Hari for many years at CCSF, where I started teaching in the English Department in 1999. I will miss his camaraderie, his dedication to his students, and, as Tanya said, his bright smile. Hari was a joy to be around. I had the privilege of evaluating his classes at one point long ago. I learned a lot from him. He was much too young to leave us. Our whole Department is mourning Hari's passing.

We miss you, and rest in peace dear Hari.
