Not sure what to say?

I still miss my buddy and my mentor. I do check in with him periodically "just in case" Jim Nowak

Harl will always be one of favorite people and someone I will continue to look up too. His commitment to helping others, without any reservation, should be an inspiration to all.
Harl has always been there for me offering suggestion, support and most of all, encouragement. I will think of Harl often, "just in case"

barb and family, _ I convey my deepest condolences, I use to joke with harl and his other buddies from Kiwanis and and the hanson house golf outings through the past he will be surely missed.....I am sure glad, I had the pleasure to have met when ,I did >> with deepest sorrow, -- my blessings pour out to you - jeff feldman

Our heartfelt sympathy to the Evans family. May you experience God's strength and His peace that passes all understanding in the days ahead. Jay will always hold a special place in my heart. Such a super cousin so generous with his love and caring for all.

Mr. Evans was my football coach from 1977-78 and varsity track (1977-79). Just an outstanding, wonderful and devoted teacher and coach! Sometimes, he seemed a bit grumpy as a coach but seriously a great man! I got to know him much better in later years when running the Tom Madzy 5K in September each fall and we would catch up with each other. He would always say a very kind word about me during the race awards ceremony

What a terrible blow... I'm so very sorry.

Harl was a devoted, hardworking member of Kiwanis for many years. I remember him trudging through the snow the last time he was in New Jersey helping build a new club in Summit , New Jersey. Always a pleasure to work with him for his inspiration in bringing new members into Kiwanis.

Rest in peace my dear Mala Maga. Love you, Mala Maga 2

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
