Not sure what to say?

I was so sorry to read about Hardy's death in the Free Press. I knew Hardy years ago in Grand Isle and he was such a great young man. I am now 87 and live in Wake Robin Retirement Community but I remember Hardy and I going from door to door in GI County talking to people about the politics of the Islands and Vermont. We never did get very far with our discussions up there but I do remember what a bright young man he was and we did have fun. We went to places I never knew existed in GI....

To the family and friends of Hardy, and to Hardy wherever you may be....

Hearing of your passing brought both sadness and joy. Sadness at the passing of someone I enjoyed interacting with all those years ago when you created awesome software titles.

Yet joy in the memory of you and of those times. You were always a wonderful person to work with, even when you asked the hard questions and we could not answer them quickly enough.

To those you leave behind, my sincere...

A superb programmer for the Apple Newton.
RIP, Hardy Macia. Condolences to his family and friends.

There are many folks who benefitted from his warmth and honor - we will miss him.

I only knew Hardy through his Apple Newton and iPhone software, but even though we never met face-to-face, I feel I have lost a very close friend. To paraphrase 2 Timothy 4:7, You fought the good fight, you finished your race, you kept your faith.

Rest In Peace, my friend.

Hardy was a good man with a huge heart. He had an affect on so many lives, and even the lives of people who never had the honor of meeting him. Our prayers are with you and yours during this time, and please know that there are so many who will continue his work and honor his name.

Been a lifetime since we saw you and your family. May your rest in peace and may your family find peace in the many wonderful memories they have
