Harlond Conn, 79, of Fulton, Missouri passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018 at his home near Fulton, MO.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 am – 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton, MO. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Rev. Tom Mustain officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery with full military honors.

Harlond was born on April 28, 1939 in Fulton, MO the son of Marvin and Bessie (Fletcher) Conn who preceded him in death. He graduated from Fulton High School in 1957; three days later he left and served in the US Air Force. On May 2, 1964 in Jefferson City, MO, he married Marcella Kempker. Harlond retired from Fulton State Hospital on July 31, 1998 after working 36 years as a Recreational Therapist. He enjoyed driving stock cars and raced all over the Midwest, umpiring local softball and baseball games, dressing up as a clown for the Kelley Miller Circus, and enjoyed playing pool at the Senior Center, woodworking and spending time with his family.

Survivors include: his wife of 54 years, Marcella Conn of the home; two daughters, Julie Murphy (Chris) of Fulton, MO and Theresa Oberlag (David) of Fulton, MO; one brother, Gale Conn (Jan) of Fulton, MO and five grandchildren, Madison and Allison Murphy and Tyler, Trenton and Tara Oberlag.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, c/o Debo Funeral Home, 833 Court St, Fulton, MO 65251. Online condolences may be made at ww.debofuneralhome.com.
