Harmon V. Strong

Harmon was an incredibly private person with a tremendous capacity to love and show compassion.I was fortunate enough to have been his friend for almost 20yrs.He was concerned about people,the environment and was a loyal "friend" to those fortunate enough to be counted as his friend. Harmon was a very good friend of our family from the time he stayed in our house in England as an airman during World War II. He and my mother stayed in contact in the intervening years, with Harmon attending family Christmas gatherings and the weddings of our children. Over the years we have also met many members of the Strong extended family, most recently at Harmon's 90th Birthday party last year, and have enjoyed this long relationship.
