A very special friend for many years.. He left his mark and will be so missed.. Marie Singleton, Pascagoula, MS

I am just now finding out about sweet Harold's passing. I had sent him a message close to this time & just had a strange feeling that something wasn't right since I didn't hear back from him. Harold would let me rent his nice apartments in the French Quarter going back to about 25 years ago & we all LOVED for him to come visit with us!! Prayers for all of his family & he will surely be missed!!

Good Ole Harold Applewhite. I will miss him. He was as unique an individual as you will ever find. I worked with and for him for well over a decade. He was unstoppable at whatever he put his mind to. He could work your last nerve, then 2 min later be generous and funny. I never saw someone work as long and hard as he did. And for as hard as he worked, He played just as hard. A truly wonderful person.

So I decided to stop one day to buy a few plants and the next thing you know I was doing my whole garden cause he kept putting plants in my truck and would not take my money. His house in Arabi what a beautiful timeless place, we were invited for Christmas and it was decorated like a magazine print out. Harold you will be missed by many but I know you...

Harold loved animals and he loved people. He was always willing to help anyone who asked or didn’t ask and just looked like they needed it. He was always thinking about others. He was always bringing us donuts, pizza and fried chicken at the nursery. He wanted to take care of everyone and everything he could. His legacy will live on at Harold’s Plant’s for years. We will proudly keep it green and keep all his four legged children fed as long as we have to. He’s pictured here with...
