I knew Major Austin 1969 Vietnam While assigned to MACG-18 Operations Section. Fine Marine Officer. He actually one time Called me by my first Name. Unheard of in Marine Protocals. 20 years go tried to locate him thinking he may be in Newport NC. Was not successful. Very sadden in this. What I read about his life after the Corps cheered me up. In Heaven we will meet Again !
