I use to be a substitute secretary at African Road and had the pleasure of working with your Mom. She was a joy to work with and always smiling and cheerful. She was never too busy to take the time to "show me the ropes" in the office. Marjorie was a wonderful, kind person. I never had the pleasure of meeting your Dad. So very sorry to hear of your losses.

I was a graduate student of Dr. Babb's a number of years ago. I have never forgotten him. Dr. Babb was both a wonderful Professor and person. I liked and respected him immensely. While I would like to pay my respects at the calling hours, my sister passed away this morning and I will be unable to attend. I will never forget your father and the kind and decent man he was.

I had the pleasure of meeting Prof. Babbs when he came to our farm several years ago in Nichols on Red Brush Rd. He asked to hunt on our land and did so for many years after that always bringing a gift with him. One year he helped my husband Martin(now deceased) put in hay. He left an impression on us all with his fine character.

I had the pleasure of working for Mrs. Babb at African Road during the summers while in college. She was the sweetest and kindest person I have ever known. Such a wonderful woman who taught me many things. I remember how much she loved her husband and her family and how she made me feel like I was part of her family. I am so sorry for your losses. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Mrs. Babb was so wonderful to me throughout my years working in Vestal. She always had a smile on her face and a warm welcome for everyone who came into the office at African Road.

Ed and Trish and the rest of y'all: So sorry to hear and please know our prayers and thoughts are with you's.
GOD BLESS always,
Roger&Betty and family

Marjorie was a special sperson in the hearts of many in the Vestal School District. She was always a gentle lady and so loved the students. I was fortunate to work directly with her after her "retirement" - what a joy! She spoke so fondly of Hal and I always knew he loved her dearly.

So sorry to read of your parents passing Trish. I knew your mom better than your dad. And, she certainly always was a ray of sunshsine when I went to African Road School to visit a student or when I met her at Austin's graduation party and in Waddington. I know they enjoyed their last years with you and Ed and you both took such good care of them. They were fortunateto have suchloving children.
