I remember Hal from High School in Cedar Springs. Hal had a rusty ol' red 53 Ford Convertible. He and his brothers already had a band going & in the years after school I saw them often at various venues in the Grand Rapids area. My condolences to his family & friends. Hal was quite a guy.

Hal and his family grew up by me. I would go down and listen to their music. It was a family affair. Back then they were called the Swingin B's. Everybody played and sang. Hung around with Dean ( Harry) a lot but was friends with them all. RIP Hal, you will be missed.
