Harold E. Bogenrief

While serving the Utah State Prison Inmates as chaplain and LDS Institute instructor, I had many occasions to work with Bro. Bogenrief. That was a special experience for all of us who served with him there and especially for the incarcerated men and women. He was a balancing and hope-generating influence for all with whom he served and for whom he served.

Thank you Grandpa for all that you taught us kids. We learned by your example what it means to serve our God, our Country, and our fellow man. Thank you for a life well lived and a great example of a man I will work harder to be like. I love you and will miss you. Thankyou for everything.

I worked with you at Deseret Industries for awhile. You were a great friend. We visited you after you left DI, and you were a help and inspiration. My children thought of you as a grandpa to them, and always enjoyed coming to see you and your wife. Thank you for letting us know and serve you, as well as helping us.
