Not sure what to say?

I am soo sorry to read of Bud's passing. I don't read the paper every day, so this was quite a shock, and I'm sorry I missed his funeral. I got to know him when my family, the Cassiday's, ran Northern Recreation. Years and years ago, and last saw him at Betty Chamber's funeral. He was such a sweet, wonderful person. And yes, that big belly laugh of his will stay with all of us that knew him forever. Please know you are in my prayers, and my dad's....Dick Cassiday.

Rose and Ruben, I am so sorry to hear that Bud has passed. His deep full belly laugh will forever be a part of my memories of him and I fully appreciate all you and he did to help me get started in life. He was a great man and role model for all to follow in his approach to work hard but also appreciate the simple things in life. I know Ruben looked up to him as did I. Rest in Peace, Michelle Vannest

I am so sorry Roseann for your loss. I am sorry I couldn't be there. I have been fighting pnemonia for about 2 weeks now. Just know my love and prayers are with you all.. I will call you soon. I love you..

So sorry to hear of Bud's passing...I looked up to him for years as a father figure when him and my mom dated. He taught me many things with his carvings and his bead work. I remember many days sitting and stringing beads with him as he healed from his motorcycle accident years ago. And his oh so favorite nick name for me...BJ...He will be greatly missed...

Darwin, Kriss & Calvin,

So sorry to hear of your loss. We used to be neighbors in Sanford...years ago! Please accept my most sincere condolences.

Sorry to hear about Bud. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I'll always remember the times as a kid I'd hide in the closet when he would stop over to my parents. I'd run and hide when I heard his bike pull in the driveway, afraid of his big gruff voice. My parents still tell of those stories and laugh. His memory lives on thru those who knew him.
