Harold James Brewer

Hal taught social studies in my high school. He was my teacher for a semester or a year/ can´t remember how long. But I do remember his wisdom (for a man only 6 years older than me) his humility and sense of fairness. He never bragged about being a Princeton grad; I´m just learning that now. I heard he helped a lot of youth for years after i graduated. God took a good man too young. But then, He enjoys good company.

Saddened to learn of the passing of Mr. Brewer. I have such memories of him as my homeroom and history teacher at S. Brunswick H.S. Mr. Brewer had us memorize the U.S. presidents in order and their running mates. To this day I know all the U.S. presidents. He was a good man with a sharp sense of humor.
