Harold liked it when I played "Happy Birthday" to him on my harmonica. He would often laugh and so I made it my mission every birthday, to serenade him

Harold was a friend I enjoyed walking and talking with. He and Noni were always friendly and made me feel that they cared about me, We would often chat after church at Plymouth. Harold had a great smile! Noni never forgot our last conversation.

I just found about about Harold (Buz)’s death and was saddened that I didn’t know as I would have come. It is how life is but I sure have fond memories of he and Nona’s wedding. I was a wee one and I had a few great conversations with him at other family funerals. I called Nona - Noni - and was always in awe of how great she was. Buz had a great life, with loving family and fond memories. Another one in that era gone. BTW - Nona was my first cousin.

We got to know each other just in the last five years of his life. We connected in a group chorus and shared an appreciation of humor, of personal stories and an agreement on the really important things in life. I admired how he seemed to be a self-made man in the insurance world and also enjoyed how he could strike up a conversation with just about anyone. We had many deep and also humorous conversations about life´s ups and downs. I wish that I could have met and known him 10 or more years...

Harold and his wife Noni were extended parents to me as I spent childhood years with their son Todd. Harold invested in me as a person, even as a child, which is something I learned from Harold: Invest in others, without seeking something of gain for yourself. He took us boys on fun outings; day trips and weekends. We must have been a chore, but he made it fun. Baseball games, to their island camp, lunch, and other experiences taylor-made for boys that Harold joined in. I love Harold,...

Harold and Noni AKA as Mom and Dad were the best example of LOVE ONE ANOTHER. They adopted me into their family and welcomed me to their home, camp and family celebrations often. They both left a legacy of kindness that I try to live up to as I hold them close in my heart forever. I know when I cross over to my everlasting, they will be there to greet me at the gate. That is the kind of comfort that they gifted so many.

I first met Harold and Noni at Plymouth church. They were both great fun to talk to after church. Harold was a dear friend and had a wonderful sense of humor. We laughed a lot when we hung out! He will be missed
