Bud and I got off to a rocky start when he approached me on the playground of Belcher School in 1961,shortly after moving to Chicopee Falls, by pointing his finger at me and yelling"your old man's rich!"
I was too young to really understand what was going on but relieved he was in the other first grade class, next door to mine. We were assigned to same class in later years and were able to become friends.
