Not sure what to say?

Just learned of Mac's passing. He was one of the real good guys, a class act, so well-liked and fondly remembered. Sincere condolences to Mrs. Caldwell, Sam, Teddy and Henry and all the family.

Living next door to Mac at an early age, Mac introduced himself to me as " McMillan Bixby "Big-foot" Caldwell. Mac was big ... bigger than life and always gracious. I will always remember his strength and humor.

I just heard the news and I am so sorry- he was always kind to me. May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

I was extremely shocked to hear that Mac had passed away about a week after his death. I knew Mac from the many disc golf games we played at his family's vacation home on Lake George. I will miss Mac's easy manner, warm smile, and enjoyable stories which certainly are family traits. My only comfort in his passing comes from the fact that he was engaged in his favorite activity when he passed. My condolences and comfort are extended to all of his great family.

His sense of fun was always overcome by his graciousness and overwhelming sense of responsibility. He has certainly had a life well lived and my thoughts and prayers are with his...

I'm sorry to hear of Mac's sudden death. He was such a good athlete at EHS and College and also a great guy! You are in my prayers.

To all Mac's family: As one of his classmates from Anchorage School, as well as EHS, I remember him so fondly. Our prayers are with you all. Wendy
