Entered into rest on May 4, 2021.  Age 97. Beloved husband of the late Genevieve for 66 years. Loving father of Candace (David) Docken, Nancy Thomas (Berris), and Michael (Mark) Carlisle. Proud grandfather of Dana and the late Adam Docken; Brian (Sarah) and the late Kevin Berris. Adoring great grandfather of Ava and Emma Berris. Survived by sister-in-law Gloria, Nephew and niece Ken and Cheryl Kevelighan. Visitation will be Thursday, May 13th from 11-3pm at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services 22546 Michigan Ave. Dearborn, MI 48124. Only 25 people are allowed in the building at one time. The service for Harold will be private. 


 


Donations in memoriam of Harold may be made to Angela's Hospice Home Care in Livonia, MI or to Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit Animal Shelter located in Dearborn, MI.

Harold and Genevieve were two of the nicest people I ever met, they both opened their hearts to me as my American family along with their children. Loved visiting with them both and then the past few years with just Harold, great memories and funny stories. Such an incredible person, Harold you will be missed but you have made lasting memories for your family and your grandchildren. Rest is peace and you are now with your beloved Genevieve!
