I was a young freshman in 1967 when I met Coach Chaffee. He was a great Coach to play for and a very nice man. I enjoyed the opportunity to officiate a couple of high school football games with him and coach Bachman. I have nothing but great memories of Coach at NWU. The Plainsmen have lost one of the great ones.

I remember Harold as a real gentleman and good friend golfing many years ago. Also, sorry for your loss. Fran was a teacher of mine, got me up to maybe 20 words a minute on the old typewriter
