I'm so happy I was able to reconnect in 2006 with Harold, my cousin through my Father Leonard Smith. I so enjoyed all the stories he told me about my Father's early days, long before I was born, and the "good old days" in general. And I enjoyed making his Mother's molasses cookies for him, though he always preferred the ones without the chocolate chips (I made both for him) because he liked them "the way Mom made them." We were saddened to hear of Harold's passing. He always brought a big smile to us with his kidding and jokes and he was a good friend to our Mom.

Elaine , Marcia , Brad , Cliff , and Carolyn , so sorry for your loss . I am so greatfull for the time I spent with Harold to get to know him Six years ago , He told me I had a place to stay if I wanted to come up to visit . Harold was a vary kind Man .

miss you

harold was a dear friend and always made me laugh even when i was down in the dumps. i loved him like a brother that i never had. now i can't call him when we both were watching the yankees or an SU game or surprise him and drop in. i will miss him dearly.
