For those of us automobile loving boys who grew up in East Grand Rapids in the 1950s and 60s Harold was a friend and advisor. Courtright's Mobil Station was a respected and trusted retailer where a friendly helping hand was always available.
I am personally saddened by my friend Patty's loss of her father, but as Vice President Joe Biden said in a speech memorializing his son a couple of days ago, the time will come when the memories of him will bring smiles,not tears.
