Harold Edwin Davenport Jr.

Our sincere sympathy goes out to the entire Davenport family. Although we lived on the opposite side of the country from each other, we felt close by means of Pete & Sue. We remember fondly our meeting at the time of Sue & Pete's wedding. Harold shared in the ceremony with our Parkwood minister. Although our personal visits were few, we will always remember Harold as a wonderful caring Christian man.

Nothing gave Harold more joy than sharing the Love of his Lord with others - this was his life's mission. Even as an Alzheimer's patient, he was able to continue his ministry of encouraging and praying for others till his final day on earth. He never forgot who he belonged to, who his Lord was, or where he was going.

Bob and Vi Block send sympathies and we wish we could be with you to bring you comfort and support and to honor our great friend and colleague, Hal. We grieve with you, and also rejoice that he is in a better place.
