Not sure what to say?

I always enjoyed my interactions with Dr. Daw. Once we went with others to Albuquerque and back in Stahlman's Lear jet - an interesting interlude to a normal day. He was always interesting...

Mary and family-We are remembering you in our thoughts and prayers. Tim and Beth Griffin

I'm so glad my sister ran into Mary at the NMSU bookstore my freshman year so that she could recommend taking Physics with professor Daw. I loved his enthusiasm at every class. Years later when I was student teaching he accepted my offer to come do a presentation for our first and second grade students at Jornada Elementary School where he spread his enthusiastic love of physics. He will be missed. Blessings to the family. We love you all and are thinking of you.

We were just thinking about you and looked you up to find out that Bishop Daw had moved on. Your were all the best Harold, Mary, Anthony, Marshall, Heidi, Kimberley. The others too, but those are the ones I remember best.

Buck, just today paid tribute to Mary Daw on the Friday Favorites on KBYU.

Thank you for much for everything.

Love,

Anna Lee and Sue Wilson

Our prayers are with you Mary and all your family. President Daw is so right that we will be with him again, until that time may his love sustain you.

Dear Sister Daw & Family:

I loved President Daw. He had such an impact on my life. I often quote him still today when I'm teaching (I teach the High Priests Group in my ward). I recall a meeting I attended years ago in which he said that he had a great gift – as a Bishop and Stake President, he didn't remember people's sins. He then said, “One day I hope I won't be able to remember my own.”

When I was a student at NMSU, I bumped into him one day on campus. He stopped to...

It was with great sadness that I learned of Dr. Daw's passing. He was a very fine gentleman who served as a tireless advocate for New Mexico State University. He had a strong, positive impact on the institution and the enrichment of our community. The grace of Dr. Daw's good works will be sustained through the many lives that he touched and the programs that he enriched.

Mary, My heart is filled with love as I pause to remember both of you. I am sad for your lonely hours until the two of you are reunited. I thank our Father in Heaven that we are blessed with the knowledge of eternal marriage and life. It is a comfort. May that knowledge and the Holy Ghost's presence comfort you. My love, Becky Ostler

I only met Dr. Daw briefly as we peered through a telescope at his son, Anthony's, home last summer. I now know where Anthony's keen intellect, inquisitiveness, passion for the sciences and compassion come from. My condolences and sympathy to Anthony and family at this difficult time.
