Not sure what to say?

Very sad...Rest in peace Mr. Filgo

I thought I had signed this book before but I really think I sent his daughter a card. Mr. Filgo was the principal at Sunset for the two and a half years I was there. I graduated in 1971. I returned in August, 03 and spent the next 11 years in the classroom, doing my giving back. Mr. Filgo came to several times to the school for events. I had the opportunity to speak with him. He was always wonderful and gracious. And I adored being able to talk to Mr. Filgo as educator to educator.

What a wonderful man Mr Filgo was, I've known him since I was 7 years old at Rosemont- so a pretty long time. He will be greatly missed.

Mr Filgo was like a second father to me when I was his office asst in elementary school (Rosemont). Each of his students knew he took great care of us and loved us! What a wonderful man!

Thank you Mr Filgo for being a great role model to me and everyone else you came in contact with through the years. Your guidance during my school years has been very instrumental in my life. God Speed Sir

My thoughts and prayers are with family and friends. He was my principal at Rosemont Elementary then again at Sunset High. RIP He will be missed.

Great man! RIP Mr. Filgo.

I am saddened to hear of all of our loss of a great and wonderful man we called our Principal at Sunset. I attended 69-71 and at every pep rally on Fridays prior to football games, he was right there to speak and encourage his students. He took so much pride in the school and his students as if we were each his own. We all sure loved you!! RIP Mr. Filgo
